super happy for today~! :D:D

We had our squadron bbq tonight at The Officers' Mess (shortform: TOM -.-) So, our flight (SI) went to TOM in the evening.

After having our meal, the FSS TAB KARAOKE COMPETITION officially started~! I was actually quite nervous initially. (the last time i performed was......1 n a half years ago? haha)

The music came in, (needed to wait for 50 secs -.-) so
in the 1st 50 secs,
"hey before i start the song, can i hear some applause for me pls?"
*applause
"thank you"
after the 1st chorus, (alot of secs to wait, again -.-) so
"hey! can i hear some applause before i start again?" -.-"
*crowd lags, then start clapping again
(so obedient rite? hahaha!)
after the 2nd chorus, i started walking towards to judges n shake their hands. oh not forgetting our beloved mr lim and SNCO peow ee haha
*massive applause
(wah~! thats more than wat i had expected)

hahaha! so in the end, i got 2nd for the competition. (the first is a gal, k la dun mind letting her win XPXP) Got this FSS TAB KARAOKE COMPETITION 2nd trophy and a $20 ntuc voucher. though getting this 2nd isnt really a big deal on its own (btw only 5 pple took part, in case u r wondering why ruihong had suddenly become so pro in singing), its the 1st trophy/medal that i hav obtained in my life~! :D:D (the 1st competition prize that i got is in the form of sweets, so it doesnt really count)
