it was really an eye opener to watch zongping play virtual striker 4 at cck arcade.
he is so familiar with the game that he knows all the bugs of the game, knowing at which position, there will be a 99% chance of scoring, even if the striker is shooting from the right centre of the field. too bad there isnt a virtual striker 4 competition in sg. (he claims that he's at least in the top 4 in singapore arcade) haha

totally reminds me of malcolm gowell's book, Outlier. The main idea that the book is proposing is that for anything in this world, it takes 10,000 hours to become a master in it, be it computing (bill gates), soccer, basketball (michael jordan) etc.

haha this zongping(or zappy, the nick we gave him) really "inspired" me. (i dunno whether its in the good way or the bad way)
I pretty bent on sharing a ps3 with my brother, get a street fighter 4 (fighting games are my forte since young), get a joystick pad and spend all my playtime on this game alone. hahaha

(btw, my other self is telling me not to, saying it will be 玩物丧志 and instead i should spend more time on reading books on investment. and yet on the other hand, my another self is
countering that argument by saying there's a need for balance between leisure n work. And yes, due to the so many years of essay writing, there will be no end in this debate. i nid some comments people :) )

who knows? maybe the next world cyber games u guys will see me playing for singapore there ;)
